Banana Fosters Nachos

Banana Foster Nachos feature crispy chips topped with caramelized bananas, rum sauce, melted chocolate, marshmallows, and a sprinkle of cinnamon, offering a decadent, sweet twist on a classic dessert.

Ingredients

  • Flour tortillas
  • 2 tsp Rum
  • Caramel sauce
  • Brown Sugar
  • 3 Bananas
  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Chopped toasted walnuts
  • Cinn/sugar
  • 1⁄2 stick Butter
  • Hot Fudge

Instructions

• Start by cutting 3 tortillas into quarters.

• Spray baking sheet w/ butter spray then spray the tortillas.

• Sprinkle w/ cinn/sugar and bake at 350 about 10-12 min, until crisp. Set aside.

• In a small saucepan melt half a stick of butter, 2 TBSP brown sugar, and 1 tsp cinnamon.

• Slice 3 bananas and gently stir into butter mixture. Add 2 tsp Rum and cook about 3 min, being sure not to overcook the bananas.

• Arrange the tortilla wedges over a platter and drizzle w/ a little hot fudge.

• Top w/ the bananas. Drizzle on a little caramel sauce. Sprinkle on walnuts and top w/ a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream!
