Easy Weeknight Air-Fryer Chicken Tenders

Easy Weeknight Air-Fryer Chicken Tenders

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg boneless, skinless chicken tenders (about 1-1/2 lbs)
  • 1 c gluten-free bread crumbs (or Panko bread crumbs)
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • ¼ c whole buttermilk
  • 1 TBSP Paprika
  • 1 TBSP garlic powder
  • ½ TBSP salt & pepper

Optional:

  • Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Top Secret Sauce, or dipping sauce of choice
  • Avocado Cooking Spray

Instructions

Pat chicken dry & season with a little salt & pepper.

In a dredging dish, add the whisked egg & buttermilk.

In another dredging dish, add the bread crumbs, paprika, garlic powder, S & P.

Dip chicken tenders one at a time in egg mixture and then roll in bread crumb mixture and set on a plate.

Preheat Air Fryer to 400.

Line tenders in batches (not to overlap) in the preheated Air Fryer, & spray tops with avocado oil spray.

Turn tenders oiled side down & spray the other sides.

Air Fry for 6 minutes. Then flip the tenders and Air Fry for 4-5 additional minutes.

Place first batch in a tortilla warmer to keep warm while second batch is frying.

Serve with any side dish. (We like pre-chopped veggies roasted at 400 for 20 min with some olive oil and salt & pepper)

Drizzle on your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
